This policy describes how the personal data of users who visit fvguitars.com and use its services is processed.

Data Controller

Types of data collected

This site collects personal data only when the user voluntarily provides it, or in aggregated and anonymous form. Specifically:

  • Data submitted through the contact form: name, email address and message content, provided voluntarily by the user to request information.
  • Anonymous, aggregated browsing data: statistical information about visits (pages viewed, general geographic origin, referring site), collected without cookies and without identifying the individual user.

Purposes and legal basis

  • To respond to enquiries sent through the contact form (legal basis: responding to a request from the data subject).
  • To analyse site usage in aggregated, anonymous form in order to improve its content (legal basis: the Controller's legitimate interest in understanding visit trends, without profiling).

Third-party services

To provide certain features, this site relies on third-party providers, which process data as processors or independent controllers under their own policies:

  • Web3Forms — handles the delivery of messages from the contact form. The data entered in the form (name, email, message) is transmitted through this service to reach the Controller.
  • Payhip— the platform used to sell digital products. When the user proceeds to purchase or download a product, they are redirected to Payhip's site, which independently processes payment and purchase data under its own policy. The Controller does not collect or store payment data.
  • Umami — a traffic-analytics tool that collects aggregated, anonymous data without using cookies and without identifying individual users.

Location and retention of data

Data sent through the contact form is retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and any resulting relationship. Statistical data is processed in anonymous, aggregated form.

Rights of the data subject

Users may at any time exercise the rights granted by Articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To do so, simply write to info@fvguitars.com. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

The Controller reserves the right to update this policy. Any changes will be published on this page together with the relevant update date.
