Fourth tenor ukulele with fv X-Bracing.
The Koa set I used for the back&sides is the first choice, the best that can be found. The top is very seasoned Red Cedar with a vary thick grain.
Given the excellent success of the previous ukulele X-B 3 I wanted to maintain, even for this model, the same characteristics of playability, developing an extremely comfortable neck with radiused fretboard at 20 ". Slight radius but enough to give a greater comfortfor to musician. Shellac finishing makes smooth and silky neck.
The cedar top returns an excellent volume and incredible sustain.
For the first time I tried a Koa freatboard. Not only for aesthetic property but also because the koa wood give back less weight to the neck making extremely balanced instrument.
